Studies design and function of emissions control devices, laws and regulations concerning vehicle emissions, combustion chemistry, and volumetric efficiency. Emphasizes proper diagnostic procedure with engine systems, including interfacing with on-board computers, automotive computer networking, and exhaust gas analysis (ASE T2 &6)
