EDET 104 - Fundamentals of Electricity & Overhead/Underground Maintenance

3 Credit Hours

This course provides students with an introduction to practical underground and overhead line distribution maintenance techniques. Focus areas include line tools, safe rigging practices, installing and repairing underground cables and equipment, and installations of cross-arms, transformers and conductors. The course emphasizes the safe use of tools and equipment in the field dealing with electricity.
