EDET 102 - Heavy Equipment Training for Line Workers
3 Credit Hours
Introduces students to the operation of heavy equipment commonly used in the line worker profession, including skid steers, backhoes, dozers, and mini excavators. This course covers basic operational techniques, safety protocols, and routine maintenance procedures for each type of equipment. Students will gain foundational knowledge and skills essential for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery in the context of line service work. Hands-on experience and safety best practices will be emphasized throughout the course.
