ENGL 100 - Basic Grammar

3 Credit Hours

A basic study of English mechanics and grammar, including basic sentence structure, sentence variety, recognition, and avoidance of common grammatical errors, designed to prepare students to express themselves effectively in writing. This is not a General Studies eligible course. This course is required of students who score less than 9 on the ACT English mechanics/usage subtest. It may be taken concurrently with ENGL 090 , ENGL 099 OR ENGL 101 .
