A study of mechanics and heat. Topics discussed include vectors, concurrent and non-concurrent forces, kinematics and linear motion, work, energy, simple machines, impulse, momentum, thermal expansion, specific heat, and change of state.

Pre-requisite(s): ACT score in mathematics of 21 or above, or a grade of “C” or higher in MATH 109.
