HLIT 112 - Pharmacology for Health Information Management

3 Credit Hours

This course provides a framework for healthcare professionals, laying a foundation of knowledge about drug treatment. It focuses on a general understanding of the actions and reasons for the use of various groups of pharmacologic agents. It discusses medications according to major drug classifications and body systems. It develops critical thinking through the use of relevant case studies and actual chart analysis.

Pre-requisite(s): HLIT 101 , MAST 105 , BIOL 105 .
