). Provides the practical application and laboratory procedures in blood bank and transfusion therapy. Students will perform immunohematology procedures, identify compatible blood units and prepare blood products for infusion. Procedures in both tube testing and gel micro-typing will be covered.

Pre-requisite(s): Admission to Medical Laboratory Technician program.
