The Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in English/Literature at New River Community and Technical College is dedicated to fostering critical thinking, creative expression, and effective communication through the study of diverse literary traditions and writing practices. This program empowers students to analyze texts, craft original works, and engage with cultural and historical contexts, preparing them for transfer to a four-year institution or careers that value strong writing and interpretive skills.
