COMM 240 - Foundations of Layout and Design

This course is designed to familiarize the student with the basic concepts of contrast, balance, and proportion using pictures, graphics, headlines, copy, design, and color. In the lab portion of the course, the student will be guided step-by-step to design brochures, newsletters, and advertisements using common page layout programs.
