BUSN 201 - Principles of Finance 3 Credit Hours
This course covers the basic concepts of business finance. Emphasis is placed on making optimal financial business decisions. Topics include financial assets and markets, investment banking, financial intermediaries, interest rates, time value of money concepts, financial statement analysis, financial planning, risk and rates of return, and capital budgeting concepts.
Pre-requisite(s): ACCT 201 and MATH 109 (required for A.S. degrees) or BUSN 114 (preferred for A.A.S. degrees). NOTE: Students pursuing the Business Office Technology, AAS can choose between ACCT 201 or ADOF 201 .
