ADST 107 - Introduction to Brakes and Steering Suspension


3 Credit Hours

This course is designed to introduce the student to the basic theories and operation of hydraulic and air brake systems and the steering and suspension systems that are utilized in both automotive and heavy-duty applications. The intent of the course is to provide the student with a rudimentary understanding of brake and steering and suspension systems for the standalone Certificate of Applied Science or to prepare the student for the advanced courses taught in the second year of the Associate of Applied Science program, should the student choose to pursue that degree.
