Greenbrier Valley Campus and Mercer Campus
The Certificate of Applied Science (CAS) program in Aesthetics is a branch of the cosmetology program specific to the care of skin and makeup. The Aesthetics program consists of 30 credit hours of instruction of both theoretical and practical skill development required for licensure by the West Virginia Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists.
The program requires a 2.0 or higher GPA. This program exceeds the 600 clock hours required by the West Virginia State Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists. Licensing or certification exams are independent of graduation requirements.
Upon completion of the Esthetics program, the student will be eligible to sit for the examination administered by the Board provided all eligibility requirements are met.
