Practice in the techniques of effective writing and reading, stressing rhetorical methods and patterns of organization necessary for clear, correct, and lively presentation of ideas and information.
Pre-requisite(s): [Next-Generation Accuplacer: 250 or above on the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER - Writing and 252 or above on the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER - Reading] or [Accuplacer: 79 or above on the ACCUPLACER reading comprehension test and 88 or above on the ACCUPLACER sentence skills test] or [ACT: ACT Reading Main score of 17 and ACT English Main Score of 18] or a grade of SC or higher in ENGL 090 or a grade of “SC” or higher in ENGL 099.
